Walnut Creek Cleanup

The CSS GSA has adopted a portion of Walnut Creek through the City of Raleigh’s Adopt a Stream Program.

Through the City of Raleigh’s Adopt a Stream Program the CSS GSA has adopted a portion of Walnut Creek  and we will pickup trash from the stream.

Our next stream cleanup will be on Saturday, April 20^th at 10am. We’ll provide gloves and safety vests, but plan to get dirty – rubber boots and/or waders are recommended!

If you want to volunteer, you’ll need to take the following steps:

1.     Register here with the City of Raleigh prior to attending the cleanup. The information below will help you complete the form.

·       Location to adopt: 1900 S Saunders St, Raleigh, NC 27603

·       Adopt a Stream Group name: NCSU Crop and Soil Sciences GSA

·       Stream Selected for adoption: Walnut Creek

·      Details for adopt a stream location: S Saunders St and I-40, Walnut Creek

2.     Complete DocuSign waiver sent to your email.

3.     Complete this Google Form to rsvp and let us know if you need a ride.
